POUND RIDGE -

Court documents have revealed new details about a double murder-suicide in Pound Ridge.

It appears that Steven Dym, the man who apparently shot his 18-year-old daughter and 60-year-old wife to death before turning the 12-gauge shotgun on himself Friday, may have had financial problems before the horrific incident.

Court documents show Dym was sued a year ago for allegedly taking nearly $22,000 from the bank account of a property he managed. State police say that information will play a role into their investigation.

The medical examiner also confirmed Monday that the three deaths were a double murder-suicide.

Dym’s son, who is now back from college, is said to be staying with his grandparents down the street.
