ORANGEBURG -

A brand new gym is opening at a Rockland County college just in time for the fall semester.

The athletic center at Dominican College in Orangeburg features an exercise room, spin class and new basketball courts.

The $5 million expansion will be completed next week. The athletic director says the center is open to their students and people in the community.

"We definitely want the community to come see what we have here, see the campus, and stay involved with us at Dominican College," says Joe Clinton.

Memberships are free for students and $300 a year for those living in Rockland.
