A Harrison boy with developmental disabilities threw out the first pitch at Friday's Rockland Boulders game.
News 12 reported that 4-year-old Luciano DiMarco, who has autism and some sensory issues, was berated by a fan at Yankee Stadium in a video that was shared thousands of times on Facebook.
It was a different story in at Palisades Credit Union Park in Pomona, where the boy's family got the VIP treatment. They met the team and got a chance to tour the locker room.
Disabilities liaison officer John Thompson said he was excited to meet with DiMarco and just wanted the boy to have fun at the ballgame.

"I built the disability liaison program from the ground up, strictly based on the inclusion of people with disabilities," says Thompson.
Luciano got to keep the ball he threw out.
