MAMARONECK -

State police say they have caught the man responsible for last week's shooting on I-95.

Jamil Fields, 55, of the Bronx is facing attempted murder and assault charges after authorities say he tried to kill 24-year-old Mouhamed Cisse, of the Bronx.

Cisse jumped from a U-Haul after being shot along the highway in Mamaroneck. He is in critical condition.

Detectives later found Fields driving a U-Haul van in the Bronx. He's currently at Westchester County jail without bail and returns to court tomorrow.
