6 injured in Pearl River drunken head-on crash

PEARL RIVER -

A New Jersey man is accused of driving drunk and causing a head-on crash in Pearl River that left six people hurt this weekend. 

Orangetown police say Kevin Thompson was driving on West Washington Avenue Sunday night when he crossed into oncoming traffic and slammed into another vehicle.

Thompson, his passenger and three other people in the other car were seriously hurt. Another passenger suffered minor injuries.

Thompson is facing DWI and several other charges.
