Swastikas found on Hastings church

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON -

Several swastikas were found on a church in the village of Hastings-on-Hudson.

Police say the symbols of hate were painted on the door of a building at Grace Episcopal Church on Broadway.

Authorities say someone came to the campus Friday night and painted several swastikas on the door to the preschool. Church leaders discovered the swastikas Saturday and quickly painted over them. They insist the act of hate won't stop them from their core mission of spreading love.

The village is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 914-478-3400.
