Graham School security guard accused in 4 slayingsPosted: Updated:
The Hastings-on-Hudson school security guard who faces a 17-count indictment in connection with the kidnapping and killing of four men in Chester last year worked at the Graham School on South Broadway, News 12 has learned.
Authorities arrested Joseph Biggs, 55, Thursday. He is facing a 17-count indictment that includes firearms and kidnapping charges. Also charged in the same case is a former Briarcliff Manor police officer, Nicholas Tartaglione.
Investigators accuse Biggs of helping to lure the men to an Orange County bar before Tartaglione allegedly shot and killed them and buried them on his farm.
Investigators later found the four bodies on Tartaglione's property in Otisville.
Graham School officials declined to comment on the allegations.
There was no answer at the door of Biggs' Nanuet home. He has a prior felony charge from two years ago for allegedly choking a man unconscious at a Nanuet gym. Records related to that case are sealed.
He is due back in court June 7. Both Biggs and Tartaglione could face either life imprisonment or the death penalty if convicted.
