Over 25,000 celebrate Lag B'Omer in Kiryas Joel

A Jewish holiday celebrated around the world brought thousands of people together in Orange County.

An estimated 25,000 people gathered at the ultra-Orthodox village of Kiryas Joel to celebrate Lag B'Omer.

The holiday honors a legendary rabbi from the second century

The festivities included a huge bonfire outside the Satmar synagogue last night.

People also gathered to dance and pray.
