South Salem is now home to the first microwinery in Westchester County.
South Salem Winery is located inside Gosset Brothers Nursery at 1202 Route 35.
Unlike most winemakers, founder John Vuolo does not have a vineyard, so he is given the freedom to order grapes from across the country.
"I think when people have my wines they're not expecting much so I really wow them,” he says.
