Forecast: Clear overnight; humid, rainy weekend ahead

EDISON -

New Jersey saw sunny skies and temperatures in the low-80s to end a week of relatively nice weather.

But News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that conditions are expected to change for the weekend with rainy weather ahead.

Friday’s overnight hours should see mostly clear skies with temperatures cooling into the low-70s and upper-60s.

Saturday should see a mix of sun and clouds in the morning, followed by late-day rain showers. Conditions should be humid with high temperatures in the upper-70s. Curren says that the rain may be heavy at times.

Sunday should see mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers throughout the day. High temperatures should reach the mid-80s.

Cloudy skies should continue into Monday with periods of rain. High temperatures should be in the mid-80s.
