Forecast: Windy with mix of sun, clouds Wednesday

EDISON -

A mix of sun and clouds is in store Wednesday for the Garden State after some early morning showers move out of the region.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist James Gregorio said temperatures will remain mild Wednesday, with highs in the mid-50s.

Windy conditions, which caused some delays Tuesday evening at local airports, will continue Wednesday. Gregorio advised travelers to get to airports early Wednesday for Thanksgiving travel.

Thanksgiving should see mainly sunny skies, but temperatures are expected to start off in the 20s and 30s. Temperatures should warm slightly into the 40s by the afternoon.

Temperatures will climb near 50 degrees again on Friday, with more sunny skies in store.
