White Plains DPW crews deploy 80 plows to clear streets

Department of Public Works crews in White Plains deployed 80 plows Tuesday to clear streets of snow.

The crews are responsible for about 150 miles of roadways.

News 12 reporter Tara Rosenblum was downtown speaking with people about the late winter storm.

Meteorologists said conditions would gradually improve throughout the evening.

While snow and sleet intensity were expected to lighten, wind gusts were expected to pick up steam throughout the night.
