Snowplows clean up Rockland County streets

Snowplows were out in force in Rockland County after a significant amount of snowfall on Tuesday.

Some parts of the region got up to 18 inches of snow, so cleanup will be extensive.

The Clarkstown town supervisor told News 12 that the roads will be clear for Wednesday's commute, but people still need to take a little extra time. He also said that people should anticipate that school districts will play it safe and have delays at least.

The supervisor said that roads should be clear about six hours after the snow stops.
