Yonkers dad indicted in 2-year-old’s death

A Yonkers father has been indicted in the death of his 2-year old son.

Blair Robinson, 25, pleaded not guilty to the murder charge yesterday.

Police say he beat his son, Alex to death last Christmas Eve at their apartment building on Maple Avenue. Investigators say Robinson brought the boy to St. John's Riverside Hospital, and the boy was not breathing.

Authorities say the boy died a short time later from blunt force trauma to his head.

Further investigation found Robinson's 10-month-old daughter living in filthy conditions at the home. During the investigation, police found his 10-month-old sister on a mattress with no sheets in a cold bedroom with a bottle of curdled milk beside her.
