Hudson Valley celebrates St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day was celebrated Friday throughout the Hudson Valley.

Shamrocks and people adorned in green, white and gold lined McLean Avenue in Yonkers ahead of the city's annual parade, scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Saturday. Cardinal Timothy Dolan will serve as the grand marshal.

Over in New Rochelle, Dudley's Parkview Restaurant was the site of radio station WVOX's annual broadcast.

Among a sea of new and familiar faces, News 12's Janine Rose was honored by the station on Friday.

There is a bit of snowy weather in the forecast for this weekend, but many say they won't let it put a damper on the festivities.
