Weather Update: Cold winds to blow today

Cold blustery air will keep most of the Hudson Valley near freezing temperatures for the next two days.



The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for most of the region effective through 6 p.m. today. Gusts could hit up to 60 mph, with feels like temperatures around the freezing mark.



Temperatures will drop to around 17 degrees overnight but feel like single digits. On Thursday, the winds will die down some and temperatures should have a high of around 39 degrees.



Warmer air will come into the Hudson Valley with highs around 50 on Friday and 60 on Saturday.
