Yonkers Chamber of Commerce honors 4 trailblazing women

The Yonkers Chamber of Commerce honored four women Wednesday at its 25th annual Women of Excellence Awards luncheon.



Friends, family and local officials gathered at Castle Royale in Yonkers for the event.



Hope Hollinsworth Coaxum received the Above and Beyond Award, and lawyer and community activist Carol Daly was recognized with the Humanitarian Award.



Chef and business owner Josyane Colwell received the Entrepreneurial Award, and Susan Sacco, a managing director at Sterling National Bank, was given the Business Professional Award.



In addition to the four women who were recognized Wednesday, the Yonkers Chamber of Commerce also saluted past honorees from the last 25 years. The organization also honored several outstanding high school students with scholarships.
