Mail service complaints in Larchmont prompt investigation

Residents in Larchmont are fed up with the U.S. Postal Service and are voicing their complaints loud and clear.

Mark Burrell has had a problems with his local post office for years and is fed up. He says his mail is going to another address with the same house number but different street.

"When you don't get a bill from credit cards and you miss a payment and now you're hit with 26 percent interest, it hits you hard," says Burrell.

Other residents are frustrated too with some of them posting complaints on Facebook.

Officials say missing days because of last week's snowstorm put them behind, but they insist they are taking the complaints seriously.

"We have a top-to-bottom review and we're going to investigate and see if we can make any necessary changes," says Deborah Jones, of the United States Postal Service.

Burrell says he has heard it all before, but he hopes changes and more accountability will happen.
