Commuters worry about flooding on Bronx River Parkway

The constant rain Friday left many drivers worried about the road conditions on the Bronx River Parkway.

Traffic was steady on the parkway in White Plains, and no flooding had been reported by the evening. But the rain and cold temperatures still made for a nasty day.

Drivers were urged to leave enough time to get to their destinations and use caution on the roads.

A coastal flood advisory was issued for southern Westchester County.

The rain is expected to subside early Saturday, but not before possibly mixing with some snow.

Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs near 54 degrees.
