Swastika found in Chappaqua middle school

A swastika was found drawn inside the bathroom of a Chappaqua middle school.

Officials say the swastika was found at the Seven Bridges Middle School.

School administrators sent home a letter to parents that said in part, "Anyone expressing a view of intolerance simply does not share in our values and does not represent who we are as a community."

Some parents who spoke to News 12 blamed the current political climate across the country.

Earlier this year, swastikas were also found inside John Jay High School in Cross River. The high school there brought in a Holocaust survivor to share her perspective.
