Police: Yonkers woman may have overdosed

A woman found dead yesterday in a house in Yonkers may have overdosed, according to police.

Investigators say they responded to 44 Alexander Ave. just after 12 p.m. Sunday after they got a report of an unconscious female. Upon arrival, police found a lifeless 30-year-old Yonkers woman, and a drug overdose is the suspected cause of death.

The victim's name is being withheld pending family notification.

The Westchester County Medical Examiner's Office will be doing further tests to determine the exact cause of death.
