Feds crack down on crime gang

A group accused of dozens of burglaries throughout Westchester County is behind bars.

The 10 suspects are believed to be responsible for a four-year string of crimes across Westchester and the Bronx.

Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino says the men, known as "The Crew," are accused of at least nine robberies and over 50 commercial burglaries, including an October 2012 robbery at A and V Pizza in Yonkers. News 12 previously reported that two men robbed a pizzeria employee at gunpoint.

According to the criminal indictment, the men are also accused of attempting to rob a drug dealer at the post office on Executive Boulevard in 2015.

The men are being charged in federal court in White Plains with robbery and firearms offenses, among other crimes.

If convicted, some face a maximum sentence of life in prison.
