Bedford private school worker charged with child porn

Police charged an employee of the Rippowam Cisqua School in Bedford with child pornography.

Raymond Zaccari, a former Mount Kisco Fire Department chief, was arraigned last Friday on two felonies.

The 58-year-old lives on Spencer Street in Mount Kisco with his wife and adult daughter. Authorities say Zaccari uploaded an image of child porn, raising a red flag with Google, because Zaccari allegedly used a Google Plus Photos account. A CyberTipline report led authorities to the suspect.

Zaccari is a groundskeeper at Rippowam and occasionally serves as a bus driver for after-school activities.

Zaccari is due back in court next week. In the meantime, the court has barred him from being around children under age 17.
