TARRYTOWN -

Tarrytown village residents and businesses are being urged to immediately reduce their water consumption until further notice.

According to their website, the village is experiencing a steady drop in the water flow to the water distribution tank.

The means that in the next 12 to 24 hours, village residents may see a significant drop in water pressure.

Government officials says this could be caused by a leak or blockage in the system. They say it could also be caused by a water main break.
