Pirro reportedly trades politics for the small screen
Just two months after losing the race for state attorney general, Jeanine Pirro has reportedly inked a deal to host a syndicated talk show.
The New York Post reports that the former Westchester district attorney will bepaid about $1 million for the Warner Brothers show. It is not clear if the show will focus on legal issues or incorporate a general talk show format. Pirro has been a regular commentator on cable networks.
Pirro was considered a rising star in Republican politics, but her husband?s missteps seemed to lead to her downfall. Pirro is still under federal investigation for allegedly trying to illegally bug her husband's boat, where she thought he was having an affair. Al Pirro served time in prison for tax evasion and fathered a child with a mistress. Despite the controversy, many say they would love to hear Jeanine Pirro talk on any number of topics.
