Fire officials probe cause of house fire in Yonkers
Firefighters were busy Monday battling a house fire in Yonkers.
Flames broke out around 6 a.m. at a three-story home on Midland Avenue. According to fire officials, the fire started in the basement of the home and spread to the upper floors.
Fire officials say the home was vacant at the time of the blaze. Firefighters continue to investigate the cause of the fire.
