Police swoop in and foil alleged Peekskill home invasion

Three residents of a Peekskill apartment were rescued by police Tuesday night after four men broke in to the residence.
According to police, a neighbor saw four men force their way into a Harrison Avenue apartment and called 911. Investigators say the suspects held the terrified residents captive as they looked to rob the apartment. When police got to the scene, they apprehended the suspects and seized a BB gun, latex gloves, ski masks and duct tape. According to police, the BB gun resembled an Uzi submachine gun. Fortunately, the residents were not hurt during the ordeal.
Twenty-four-year-old Ronique Lewis, 21-year-old Ryan Williamson, both of the Bronx, 20-year-old Brandel Mathias, of Ossining and 22-year-old Randy Williams, of Peekskill, are charged with robbery, burglary, criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful imprisonment.
