Alleged Bedford Hills house of ill repute to be purified by owners
Neighbors in the Bedford Hills community were say they shocked when a dominatrix was arrested for running a sex den out of her home, but not as shocked as members of a Jewish rabbinical school that rented out that house.
The Haines Road house that 46-year-old Sandra Chemero rented is now set to be purified by its Hasidic Jewish owners. Cops arrested Chemero for prostitution Wednesday after police say she offered an officer sex for money. Police say an anonymous letter spurred the two-month investigation. The letter also mentioned a Web site called ?The Sovereign Estate? that touted Chemero?s dominatrix services. The site has since been taken down.
Leaders of the rabbinical school say their lease agreement has a statement that says if something goes wrong, they have the power to immediately evict. Rabbi Samuel Blum says the house is now unclean and when Chemero moves out a ritual purification is planned to rectify the situation.
