A gruesome discovery was made Saturday in a box that washed up in the Mamaroneck Harbor. Police say a female torso in some type of container was discovered before 4 p.m. at Harbor Island Park. Westchester County police would not comment on what, if any, evidence was collected from the body that has no arms, legs or head attached. Police would not confirm how long the body had been in the water or the age or race of the apparent victim. Police say they will likely release more information on Sunday.
