Body of college student pulled from Hudson River in Yonkers

A body recovered from the Hudson River Sunday morning has been identified as a college student who went missing last Thursday, according to police. Yonkers detectives say family members have positively identified the body of 19-year-old Ramona Mullings of Brooklyn. Mullings? body was recovered near the Glenwood railroad station. The search for Mullings was concentrated along the Hudson after police located her cell phone and book bag at the Glenwood station. Bloodhounds, helicopters and a dive team from the Mount Pleasant Police Department were involved in the search. Yonkers detectives will investigate the incident, but at this time say they do not suspect foul play. They also say the cause of death has not been determined, but Mullings had no visible trauma to her body.
