Police bust suspected 'cannabis king' of Harrison

Police in Harrison confiscated drugs, cash and guns when they busted an accused pot dealer they called the ?cannabis king.?

Police say when they raided Joseph Porto?s basement Thursday they found a pound of marijuana, pot plants, a manual on how to grow marijuana and the equipment to do it. Police also confiscated $6,000 in cash, jewelry and guns, including a 9 mm with a silencer.

According to police, Porto was the town's biggest pot dealer and he used high school students to sell his drugs. Police also arrested 16-year-old Jesse Mendoza in connection to Porto?s illegal enterprise.

Porto is facing felony weapons and drug charges.
