Police are questioning a Greenburgh gas station worker following a daylight robbery at the location Monday.
According to investigators, an employee of a Mobil station in the Village of Elmsford was carrying a bank deposit bag to his car when two men robbed him around noon. Authorities say employees chased the bandits, but they got away in a vehicle driven by another person. Police say the incident occurred near a surveillance camera and the robbers did not have a weapon."They're usually busy here ? at least three cars getting gas, two people in the store. That's why it's very odd," frequent customer Robin White said about the robbery.Police took at least one employee to the police department for questioning, but have not said why.
Although investigators are not revealing how much money was taken, News 12 Westchester has learned it could be as much as $12,000.
