Firefighters: Pool house fire appears accidental
A fire left behind the charred remains of a pool house in Bedford Monday.
Bedford firefighters arrived at the scene on David's Hill Road just after 7 a.m. and worked for about 30 minutes to put out the fire. Nearly 100 firefighters from Bedford Hills, Katonah, Mount Kisco, Pound Ridge, Banksville and Armonk came to aid Bedford's efforts.
A preliminary investigation shows the fire started at the back of the building and may have had something to do with the heating system.
The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation, but firefighters say it appears accidental.
