Holiday weekend comes to violent end in Yonkers

The holiday weekend came to a violent end Tuesday after a teenager was stabbed in Yonkers.According to police, a 17-year-old male was stabbed in the thigh around 2:15 a.m. near Bruce and Rockland avenues. The victim was taken to St. John?s Hospital and was later transferred to Westchester Medical Center for surgery.

Police say they are having a hard time with the investigation because the victim is not cooperating with authorities. Police are looking for suspects and other people who may have been involved.
