Nyack residents voice concerns over recent break-ins
Nyack residents met at village hall Thursday evening to voice concerns about a recent string of unsolved break-ins.
The suspect in three recent burglaries entered through unlocked windows on the first floor of the homes and then went into women?s bedrooms.
Police believe one person may be behind all three of the incidents. No arrests have been made.
Officials said they are focusing a lot of resources on the investigation and are offering safety tips to residents.
They recommend ensuring all doors and windows have working locks, using lighting when not home and locking entrances at night.
Many at the meeting said they just want to be informed. Some say they are prepared to take the information back to their senior citizen neighbors.
