Ramapo graduation party ends in gunfire, stabbings
A graduation party in Ramapo turned into a crime scene Saturday night after shots were fired and several people were stabbed.
Police continued to investigate at the East Eckerson Road home Sunday. Authorities say more than 150 people showed up at the party. Neighbors say the party took a turn for the worse when uninvited kids crashed the party. Residents say they ran outside after hearing gunshots.
However, police say no one suffered gunshot wounds. Three people were transported to the hospital with stab wounds, according to officials. Authorities have yet to release the victims' names. The victims are expected to recover.
Investigators recovered several weapons at the scene.
The man who threw the party for his daughter declined to comment on camera, but told News 12 he plans to personally apologize to his neighbors.
