Heavy rains spark traffic troubles in Westchester
Heavy rains caused traffic tie-ups across Westchester County Wednesday.
Flooding on the Hutchinson River Parkway prompted closures near the Mount Vernon-Pelham border. A long line of commuters were detoured off the parkway. While drivers said they are familiar with parkways closing due to flooding, they said they hoped the problem would be fixed.
