A house fire in Thornwood Sunday night has left several people homeless. Dozens of firefighters from several departments responded to the blaze on Commerce Street. Firefighters say flames broke out inside the walls causing a good deal of damage to the house. Investigators say the cause of the fire is likely electrical. The Red Cross is providing housing assistance to the eight people left homeless.
