Man found slain in Greenburgh driveway

Police are investigating the shooting death of a man who was found lying in the driveway of a Greenburgh house Sunday.

Authorities say they responded to a call about gunshots fired around 1:20 a.m. on Manhattan Avenue near Beach Street. When police arrived, they found 31-year-old Kenyatta Parks, of Elmsford, with a gunshot wound to his head.

Greenburgh police surrounded the crime scene with yellow tape as stunned neighbors woke to learn the news.

Investigators are awaiting the results of an autopsy and say they do not have a suspect or motive in the crime. They are asking anyone with information about the case to call 914-682-5325.

The homicide is the town's first since July 2006.
