Woman busted in Bedford dominatrix sting in court
The woman accused of running a dominatrix business out of her rented Bedford mansion was back in court Monday.
Sandra Chemero was in Bedford Town Court on prostitution charges stemming from a police sting in February. Bedford Police Detective Michael Roche testified at the hearing that Chemero outlined the sex acts she would perform in a lengthy, secret recording made by an undercover officer. Roche said the statements he heard on the recording, along with anonymous tips to police and town officials, were used to justify the search warrant.
Chemero's lawyer, however, said Roche admitted he listened to only a brief excerpt of the tape. The defense claims Roche didn't hear enough to have grounds for a search.
Chemero is charged with prostitution and illegal possession of a stun gun. She remains free on bail. She is due back in court September 24.
