Police search for answers in Spring Valley attack

Police are searching for answers after a man was attacked with a two-by-four in Spring Valley Saturday morning.

Police say the victim was hit over the head at an unoccupied office building on South Main Street. Authorities have not been able to identify the victim, because he had no ID on him. The severity of the injury and the amount of blood on the man have made it difficult to determine his age, according to police.

Police don?t know the attacker?s identity or motive, but a witness said that the suspect is a Hispanic male.

The victim was hooked to a ventilator and transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern.
