Lights out for more than 500 Yonkers residents

A power outage has left more than 500 Con Edison customers in the dark in Yonkers.

Residents say the power suddenly shut off Sunday night, leaving whole blocks pitch black. It is not yet clear as to what caused the power lines to crash.

Con Edison officials say crews have been dispatched and are working to fix the problem. They expect power to be returned by Monday morning.

Residents say they hope the problem is fixed soon.

?"It's getting a little cold,? says Joy Cortina, one of the affected customers.
