Pelham Manor police hunt for hit-and-run driver

According to police, someone driving a white sedan came speeding down Boston Post Road around 11:30 p.m. Friday and hit Hildo Rosario. Police say the driver stopped for a brief moment and then took off.

Police say Rosario, of the Bronx, was crossing the road to catch a bus when he was struck. They say the force of the impact was so hard that Rosario was thrown nearly 30 feet.

Police say the car, either a Toyota or Honda, was headed toward the Bronx. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pelham Manor police at 914-738-1000.
