Westchester residents brave bitter cold, strong winds

The winter blast that hit Westchester and the Hudson Valley Monday left hundreds without power during the day.Strong winds toppled trees and brought down power lines in the region. Con Edison says as many as 220 Westchester customers were without power.
Residents told News 12 Westchester that they weren't fazed by the frigid temperatures. They said they are doing the basics like wearing a warm winter coat and using hats and gloves.On Monday, temperatures were in the 20s with sunshine. Temperatures diped back into the teens Monday night.
