Heating oil truck flips over in Greenburgh

A truck carrying home heating oil flipped over onto its side in Greenburgh Friday.

Police say the truck was making a turn on a steep hill on Stone Avenue when it flipped over. The driver was not seriously hurt, but was taken to the hospital to be treated for back injuries. Residents say accidents occur frequently in the neighborhood. Police also believe the snow and ice may have factored into the accident.

Investigators are on the scene to figure out exactly what happened.
