Drug suspect leads police on wild chase

Yonkers police were led on a wild chase by a suspect they had stopped during an alleged drug deal.
Police arrested one man at the scene of the alleged deal, but they say the other suspect managed to drive off from the scene. The chase, which started on Raybrook Road in Yonkers, stretched all the way to White Plains.
Authorities say the suspect drove north on the Sprain Brook Parkway, throwing what is believed to be either heroin or cocaine out the window as he drove. The suspect then headed down Interstate 287.
At least two accidents were caused on 287 before the suspect turned off at exit 6 towards White Plains.
The suspect tried to get away on foot after stopping on Chadwick Drive in White Plains. Officers and K-9 units swept the woods around the area before apprehending the suspect.
