School evacuated after bomb threat

About 200 students at Nelson Mandela High School in Mount Vernon were evacuated Wednesday after someone called in a bomb threat.

Police say students were allowed back inside the building after every precaution was taken to ensure the bomb threat was a hoax.

"Already we have a lead where the phone call came from. We are investigating," says Mount Vernon Police Commissioner David Chong.
