Man shot blocks from police department

Police say a Mount Kisco man was shot Sunday night just blocks from the police department.

The shooting happened at Lexington and Gregory avenues, according to police. The victim is a 32-year-old Hispanic man police say was attacked by a group of men at about 10 p.m.

Police say the man was shot in the leg, and witnesses told authorities the suspects fled in a small sedan.

The victim remains in stable condition at Westchester Medical Center.
