17-year-old killed in crash of SUV

Police say a 17-year-old boy was killed early Saturday morning after his car flipped over and landed in the Bronx River.

According to police, Justin Vaque was driving along the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers when his SUV hit a guardrail, slid down an embankment and went into the Bronx River.

"I seen all the lights and I was just hoping it wasn't him. I seen the car turned over inside the river," says Jamie Vaque, Justin's brother.

Westchester County police believe Justin Vaque may have been talking on a cell phone and speeding when the crash happened near Oak Street.
