Police: Drugs, cash seized in Spring Valley bust

Police in Spring Valley are sifting through evidence after they claim they found marijuana and thousands of dollars in cash during a drug raid on Friday.

Police say illegal drug sales were occurring at four different stores in a strip mall on Ewing Avenue. According to authorities, officers found enough marijuana to fill a garbage bag, thousands in cash and several guns in the raid. The drug bust also led police to a private home in Spring Valley where they say marijuana, ecstasy, powdered cocaine and money were found.

Overall, police say they arrested nine people on drug charges and seized $8,000.
